Equipment

  • blender

Ingredients

  • 4 cups watermelon (preferably seedless. Or use 2 cups watermelon juice).
  • 2 limes
  • ½ cup vodka
  • 3 tablespoon sugar (or agave syrup)
  • crushed ice

Instructions

  • First make a sugar syrup (skip this step if you have agave syrup on hand): put the sugar and the water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Keep stirring until the sugar dissolves and let the syrup cool completely.
  • Cut the watermelon into chunks and put them in the blender.
  • Squeeze the limes and add the juice to the blender.
  • Add the vodka and sugar syrup to the blender and blend until completely smooth. Pour the mixture through a strainer for an extra smooth result.
  • Add a handful of crushed ice to each glass and pour the watermelon cocktail into glasses.
  • Garnish the watermelon cocktail with a slice of watermelon or a slice of lime.
