3sheetsgelatin(or a bit less than 1 tablespoon powdered gelatin or 1 teaspoon agar agar)
1 ⅔cupwater
¼cupgranulated sugar
fresh fruiti.e. passion fruit and strawberries
Instructions
Put the sugar in a saucepan with the water, heat, and stir occasionally until the sugar is dissolved. Meanwhile, soak the gelatin in cold water.
Allow the tea to steep in the warm sugar water for a few minutes, and remove the tea bags.
Squeeze out the gelatin and stir it into the sweet tea with a whisk. Pour the tea jelly in glasses, let them cool down to room temperature then place them in the refrigerator for the jelly to set. This will take about 3-4 hours.
Before serving, garnish the tea jelly with the fresh fruit of your choice.
