About me

Hi, nice to see you here! I'm Sandra, 38, and I live with my husband, two kids, and a cat in a small village in the Netherlands. I spend a lot of hours in the kitchen trying out new recipes, and my favorite recipes are shared here, with you!

Sandra - owner of From Sandra's Kitchen

I have loved good food and cooking for as long as I can remember. When I was little, my father and I would whip up a three-course dinner for the family a few times a year. With my mother, I loved to bake cookies and cakes (and, of course, lick the batter bowl). I still do, by the way, if my kids don't beat me to it.

When I moved out on my own, I just started to enjoy cooking more, and the love stayed! These days, I prefer to cook with fresh produce, preferably ingredients that are currently in season (hello, lovage pesto!).

Being from the Netherlands, of course, you'll find some Dutch recipes on my blog, like Boerenjongens and Dutch Pea Soup. Prefer the American cuisine? I've got your back! I'm sure you'll love these Spicy Corn on the Cob, or this Maple Glazed Pumpkin.

If you made a recipe, I would really appreciate if you share a short review by clicking the stars and leaving a comment. Thank you!

Love, Sandra

PS: Are you a Dutchie or can you read Dutch? On my website culi-sandra.nl, you can find even more recipes!
